The Belgian Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism (CEOOR) published a report on transcultural competences in the health care sector in October 2011

 

A new publication which highlights the practical steps local employers in Northern Ireland are taking to boost employment opportunities for disabled people was recently launched by the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland.

 

The 2011 Equality Authority Final Annual Report was launched by Justice and Equality Minister Alan Shatter TD at the College of Physicians in Dublin on Monday 9 July 2012.

 

The British Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has released a new report entitled "Gender diversity on Boards: the Appointment process and the role of executive search firms".

 

As a result of repeated racist and xenophobic incidents, the Human Rights Defender in Poland has launched its report on the "The principle of equal treatment - law and practice. Preventing violence motivated by race, nationality or ethnic origin. Analysis and recommendations."

 

On 13 June 2012 the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI) launched its latest Equality Awareness Survey findings which shed light on public attitudes towards equality and discrimination in Northern Ireland.

 

The Belgian Centre for Equal Opportunities and Opposition to Racism has recently launched its 2011 Annual Activity Report.

 

On 23 March the Romanian National Council for Combating Discrimination published its research report on “Discrimination in Romania – Perceptions and Attitudes”.

 

The landmark report represents an equality analysis of data from the 2006 Irish Census of Population. It examines disadvantages faced by members of groups identified by the nine grounds covered by the Irish Equality Acts.

 

The report describes the Equality Ombudsman’s experience of promoting Roma rights, the aim being to determine how far this work has progressed and what further measures need to be taken.
